Time flies, it is hard to believe that we have lived in Singapore for over one month. After the exploration of Singapore for a few days, the English bridging class had began. In fact,it is a new page of our life. New fridends, bigger challenges and an entire new yourself.Did you adapt to the different environment?Did you find yourself enjoy the life nowadays? Some lucky people find new friends there, some wise people find new goals there. So how have you been?
Are you feeling the English class bored? Actually, the classes are well organized. There are different tutors with various culture background. However, some people are still too shy to join the class activily, most of us are still struggling for the unfailing unknow words. In my view, do not believe that our tutors and classmates will tease you because your pronunciation is not as good as the emcee of the BBC,do not feel anxious when you find unknow words all over the word.We are all facing these difficulties not just you.It is no doubt that everyone is outstanding including you,we are in the same group,we can make progress together. Show the mercy to our friends, show the confidence to ourselves.
Are you feeling lonely even in a crowd? Singapore is a whole new country for me,curiosity draws me to explore everything. However, when your feel your deterioration of vigor, when you calm down in the midnight, do you have the same feeling that you can not help missing your friends, your family and the familiar hometown like me? How did you deal with that? For me, I feel lucky that in our dorm the 7 girls all from Xi’an Jiaotong University get on well and new friends in Singapore are all easygoing.Friends in China are all missing me too and we all keep in touch well even it is a long distance.Everyone has a small room with some private memories and thinkings inside, sometimes we need to have a rest in our own place, sometimes we need to open the door and enjoy the good time with others, sometimes we need to reach out our hands to someone we trust in to have a visit to our own place.
Thanks for everyone even today is not the Thanks Giving Day.I feel lucky I made the decision to come to Singapore,I feel proud that I am surrounded by outstanding and attractive you.Hope you all enjoy the life here.
Good luck and all the best wishes~

What you said is so wonderful and i think it values our overthinking.thank you ……
ReplyDeleteYou have written down our real feeling in detail. I share the same feeling with you.
ReplyDeleteyeah,we experience the same.We are heading for our lives in this different place together. With your words,I know no matter what we come across,we can share it with each other and stay strong enough to greet the future.
ReplyDeleteJust as you say, we all face the same problem. We all miss our friends and our parents, but we are sure to make new friends here~~You are such an outgoing girl that there must be many people who want to make friends with you! As for studing, I think all of us should make every effort to master it!
ReplyDeleteI noticed that you do not use space after punctucations. Please allow me to give you some suggestions~~
There is always at least one space following punctuation, except for parentheses. There is always a space after a comma and semi-colon. Two spaces follow a colon and punctuation that ends a sentence (period, exclamation mark and question mark). In recent years one space following punctuation that ends a sentence has become popular/acceptable, but my last foreign English teacher don't recommend it. Two spaces generally following a colon.
There is never a space preceding punctuation except for an opening parenthesis. So, a comma, a period, an exclamation mark, a closing parenthesis, a colon, a semi-colon, and a question mark have no space preceding them.
