As we all know, the Internet Engineer Google which is very famous around the world has left China in 22 March 2010. Here I will tell about some my own opinions about how this event occurred.
In my view, Google's leave from China is on account of three reasons.
First of all, there is no suitable leader after Kaifu Lee's demission in 2009 who is a very brilliant and confident researcher and officer. This shakes the confidence of Google very much.
What's more, the remarkable differences between Chinese and American market make Google at a loose end, so do the Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. As a developing and socialism country, China is not as open and developed as other western countries. It is neither the fault of Chinese government nor Google. All these things is because of the special circumstance where China is.
Last but not the least, Baidu, which is the most famous Internet Search Engineer, constitute a great challenge to Google as it appears in China earlier than Google. Quite apart from that only a little part of Chinese are using English Search Engineer, which is almost the only strong point Google having in Chinese market.
All in all, the thing was done and there is no help for it. What should we do is that try our best to adapt to the change. I think, as the China is developing very fast, Google will come back to China before long.

The fact that google leaves China is really a lose for all the three parts,the Chinese government, google company and Chinese people. For the goverment, they leaves a negative impression on western world; for google, the lose a battle in Chinese market; for chinese people, one of their window to know the world is closed. I hope one day google can come back.
ReplyDeleteto tell the truth!there should be some politic reason!many country such as japan and korea also have so many and even more restriction on google why it does not leave these courtries.and why he choose to leave at this time!

ReplyDeletei agree with dingzhiwei. As a simple company, it is hard to explain that google leave China only because of "restricion". The USA government must have some influence on google. Actually every country ,including American itself, has some restriction on internet informations. So I support Chinese government suggestion.
