The talk abot artificial intelligence

This morning, we listened to a talk about artificial intelligence. In the talk, the lecture asked a question: can machine think? Alan Turing said that the question was meaningless. We just let the machine play the role of the man. If it does as well as the man, it can think. What a great idea! Sometimes when we put forward a great idea, people may ask a lot of questions. Unfortunately, some of the idea may be blocked by the unnecessary worries. However, it doesn’t mean that people are not supposed to put forward their ideas or worries. On the contrary, I just want to say sometimes there is no need to think too much before you put it into action. In addition, thinking too much may block your way to the success. Just like the question asked in the talk, if we want to know the answer, we just need to put it into action rather than do nothing but worry a lot. Recently the GM food is popular and the attitudes towards it vary from one to another. Some people may say that GM food is dangerous and then he lists all the danger. However, if you ask him why he thinks so, he may not have clear or convincing evidence. They just complain or worry but do nothing. In my mind, the best way to solve the problem is to do experiments on it. Some people may say it’s hard to find an exact copy of us human beings, but if we want to and try to, everything is possible. Instead of worrying only by words, why not put it into action? Use science to solve the problems and then we can have a clearer understanding of the problems. At the same time, it also removes people’s doubts, just as the old saying goes that it kills two birds with one stone. Next time, instead of worrying, use science to solve it!
