We all use paper money everyday, but do you know how paper money products? Let me tell you about the money production. It is only a brief production flow, since the details are secret.
There are two major materials of paper money, paper and inks. The paper is a kind of specific paper which is antacid, alkali resisting, wearable and fold resisting. The inks consist of dry color pigments blended with oils and extenders to produce especially thick printing inks. But the colored seals and serial numbers on the front of the bill are printed separately using regular printing inks.
The first step of money production of course is to design it. After this is engraving the master die. The master die should be done very carefully so that no mistake will be printed on the paper. The third step is to print the money. This step is complicated containing many secondary steps. The inks drop on the paper and pile up. Then the machine presses it into one layer. Finishing printing, the paper will be cut into smaller pieces, because the paper is as large as a newspaper. Then the production goes to the final step, checking. After this, the paper will be published, and circulates as money.
