You may have many friends, but can be lonely.
Maybe you are alone, but may not be lonely.
Being lonely is one thing that we cannot get rid of. For the world is so big that you are only one of the billions of people. The world is infinite. Cities, towns or countries which you live in are infinite too. But you are not infinite. You can only see a little part of the whole road or street. You cannot see the cities’, the towns’ or your own future. Especially when you travel to another place, just like now, you cannot guess where you are that does not just mean where you are.
Loneliness is just like the tide. Sometimes it rises, but you need not worry, because it will soon falls as nothing has happened.

ReplyDeletewhen i ate lunch at nus, some one asked me,"why are you alone?" i was not able to answer him. but after reading your blog, i think i can reply to him,"i am alone, but i am not lonely."
ReplyDeletewell, as an old saying goes, a friend in need is a friend indeed. i think it doesn't matter if your friends are not along with you, what matters is that such people show up at the right time when you are in trouble.
one of my friends once said something to me, and i will never forget his words. he said,"never say thanks to me, remenber friend, as long as you need, as long as i have……" and i was moved deeply.
as for loneliness, i think if you are happy and content inside, you will not feel lonely, even if you are alone all the time.
sometimes we have the same felling. but when i talk with others, just as my parents, my friends, some of them are in China. When i talk to them, i think i am happy. do you have a try?
ReplyDeletei remembered my oral report. i said sometimes people needed to be alone and learned to be alone because you could not let others always around you. just learn to be alone when nobody arounds you and be happy.
