On Thursday, we watched a movie called Philadelphia which dealt with the discrimination against the homosexuals and Aid carriers, Just as Joe said: “It is about a case not just about Aids but the general hatred, fear of homosexuals and how that climate of hatred and fear translated into the firing of this particular homosexual.” We all know that in the courtroom, justice is blind to matters of race, creed, color, religion and sexual orientation. Finally, Joe won the case. With all due respect, we don’t live in this courtroom. There is still some discrimination against the homosexuals and Aid carriers.
In my mind, how people live and what they do have nothing to do with us. Then why do we trouble minding their business? Some people say that they feel bad when they see a homosexual in the street. Then I want to ask a question: Does what they do have anything to do with you? If not, why do you waste time to think of them and feel bad about that? On the other hand, just imagine you are a homosexual; will you want people to regard you in a strange way or even a scornful way? Homosexuals have their own life. Everyone is born equal and everyone has his or her right to choose his or her right. We have no right to look down upon them or even tease them. They are as equal as us in sexual orientation. We are not superior to them. Instead, we are the same.
Recently, some countries make law to allow homosexuals to survive. For example, in USA, they can get married. The environment they live in has changed a little better. However, there are still quite a lot of people who can’t accept homosexuals. I know according to different races and religions, the attitudes towards it vary a lot. What we can do is to help everyone have a positive attitude towards different sexual orientation. This road is very long but I am sure we will succeed at last.

Yes, homosexuals often get frowned upon because of their differential sexual preference from the norm. Some argue that homosexuality is against their religious belief. While one should respect that doctrine in the name of religious harmony, the dilemma is - What about human rights? Surely it is not difficult to see how discrimination flouts that.

You are right,our road to a society which has no discrimination or unfair is very long!Sometimes it is sensitive to talk about these topic such as politics,religion,sex and races,but it does not mean that we can ignore the injustice around us.The world is not perfect and what we need to do is to make it better.
