The power of them

They are considered as one of the most powerful group in the world. They exist in everywhere, and use their powers to make differences. We are all impacted by them. Our lives, our study, our activities or even our thoughts, all can be changed by them. Does it sound horrible? Who are they? They are the media.
Newspapers, magazines, TV, radio and internet, they are all media. They are considered to be tools of information dissemination, but their functions are not only to deliver information. Nowadays, media are used in many different ways. For example, newspaper, one of the oldest media in the world, is not what it used to be. In the past, we read newspapers in order to keep up with the changing world. What happened now? At present, newspaper becomes more fashion, in other words, more complex. Different people have different kinds of newspaper. For businessmen, they have business newspaper; for scientists, they have scientific newspaper; for students, they have exercise newspaper. Even the gossipy girls (may be include gossipy boys) have their newspaper, tabloid newspaper! The other change is that with the development of the printing technology, newspapers are no longer black-and-white. They are also become colourful. What’s more, it is said in some countries, scientists even developed newspapers which can speak, sing, change contents and some other unimaginable features.
The media have already stepped into our lives deeply. Every day after we open our eyes, we are flooded by media. We grasp news from the media; we know weather from the media; we see soap opera from the media; we cannot live without the media.
So do not look down on the media. Be careful, the power of them!
