This is our last blog. Looking back, we have spent five months together and our English Bridging course would came to an end soon. Here, we had our lovely group 7. This is the first class we have in Singapore and also the last class here with only Chinese students. Here, when we cannot express our own opinion very much, other classmates would give us a hand. Here, we improved our English. Here, we made jokes of each other. Here, we did a lot of debates, oral reports and oral presentations. Here, we saw four wonderful movies together. Here, we had our six great tutors. How much laugh and exertion we left here! The East Coast, Senstosa we all left our footprints there. There, due to our efforts, we all had a delicious BBQ in spite of the rain. There, we wrote our pray and promise on the sand. There, we threw one and another classmate into the sea. There, we created different postures and took photos of each other. There, we played so many interesting and exacting games which cleared all the stress away. Wherever we went through, we all left our laugh there and brought the beautiful memories back.
A year ago, we were busy preparing for our college entrance exam and we were leaving the class which accompanied us two or three years. Half a year ago, we were in the plane to go abroad. It was the first day we grew up and became mature. Not remembering how many times recalling the parents’ tearful eyes, how many times we cried to wake up, all the scenes coming to the mind, we hugged the parents and then went straight to the entrance, afraid that at the time we turned back, we would burst into tears. Now, we are preparing our last oral presentation in English Bridging course and the post test and we were leaving our lovely group 7 soon. The only luck may be that we still live together in Eton Hall. We all know that the reputation of our group 7 is not very good, so there is no time to waste. Boys and Girls, let’s try our best to win the finial success of post test and the oral presentation. Come on! Let’s make a surprisingly prefect end!

Yangyang, your blog reminded me of a Chinese poem of Na Lan . Time flies and we are going to say good-bye to each other and take a step on a new undergraduate life. There is so many precious memories with you all and I really learn a lot from our group 7. I have made friends with 19 kind kids; I have got many happy laughters during the class time; I learn to organize a group trip in a strange place; I received much encouragement from you all... All I want to say is "Thank you"!
ReplyDeleteAlthough there are many bad stories about our group, I still feel lucky to be one of you. I still believe we are all excellent students and the problem is that something went wrong at the very first beginning. It is not totally our fault.
Best wishes to you all^_^
haha~~let's make a surprisingly perfect end! that is also what i am thinking about!!! so let's get well prepared for the presentations and tests.
ReplyDeletealthough our class has bad comments from our tutors, i like the class atmosphere very much. it isn't stressful, but relaxing and i usually find may joy during the class time O(∩_∩)O
The sadness comes in the leaving time. However, what we have achieved really encourage us to be brave in the future. As you said, this first lesson teaches us how to manage English as well as help us to lay a soild foundation for our future study. Remember the happiest time in the studying life...
ReplyDeletePlease never never say our goodbye. We can still meet each other one day; we can still contact with each other; we can still go out together; we can still share our best memories. Never say goodbye, even it is the time to separate, because it will make me feel that we won't leave.
ReplyDeleteI strongly agree with Julie! We should never say goodbye to each other. Lucky to be friends with you! I think I wil disturb you unexpectedly in the future, and also welcome you guys disturb me;D ~~
ReplyDeletewe are together forever. although the meeting frequency will be not as much. actually, i feel extremely proud of being a member of group 7! after talking with other groups' members, i found that the atmosphere in our group is among the best. every one gets along well with others and the class air is quite comfortable. we should be confident to face the difficulties in future and go hand in hand !!
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me a song "never say goodbye". we will never say bye either. At least, we can stay together in Singapore for 10 years~~
