It is an American drama which tells something about faith, family and sacrifice.

There were two brothers and they had a distinct character. The big brother Dean always believed in their father and followed their father’s orders, even when their father was lost. While the small brother Sam got his own normal life to be a lawyer and didn’t follow their father’s orders. Their father’s job is a hunter who hunts demons and saves people. The brothers’ mother died many years ago because of a demon.

In their childhood, their never had good friends and they had to go with the hunter father to many place. When they were older, Dean became a hunter and Sam got to Stanford University. Everything changed, since Sam’s girlfriend died in the same way as Sam’s mother. Sam became a hunter too.

In the way of hunting, they began to know their destinies. The archangel Micheal’s vessel is Dean while the Lucifer’s vessel is Sam. They have a very similar experience with Micheal and Lucifer. Micheal needs Dean to fight with Lucifer for the faith of their father—God. But Dean and Sam said no to Micheal and Lucifer. The brothers wanted to protect the world in their own way. If Micheal fights with Lucifer, the world will be destroyed.

At the end of the drama, Sam said yes to Lucifer and Lucifer possessed Sam. But it is a trap to box up Lucifer in Sam’s body. And then, Sam jumped into the cage which was used to lock up Lucifer. Dean locked the cage himself, despair.

In this drama, the most attractive things are the struggles between faith and reality, justice and evil, yes and no, hope and despair, death and reborn, heaven and hell.
