The Wink

This week, we learned one article in the SM19 called “the wink”. I must admit that this article has left me a deep impression and cause some echo in my heart.

As described in the article, the relationship between the couple seems odd in others’ eyes. They all think the mother is harsh and the father id henpecked and the author often sees his mother tick off her grievances against his father. However during the ten days when the mother was hospitalized due to the diabetes, the author gain priceless insight and realized that there were full of love and passion between his parents.

From a very young age, my family filled with fights and quarrels and my mother even escape home for months. I once hated them not because the poverty we had to suffer (to tell the truth, I enjoyed it), but because they often beat me without any reason. Their quarrel often ended with my deadly crying, though I am submissive from a very young age. As I grew up, I gradually realized that I was wrong. Both of them are kind but aggressive people, and they cannot accept the reality that their status seems lower than others. My father once told me that he felt unfair and envious of me, because he could not have the chance to go on study although he once was the best student in the middle school. They are very diligent even now they are still renowned for their hard work; however due to the special situation of my grandparents and me, their earning could not afford the expense. Year after year, their temple change gradually. Their love was emerged when my father had his operation on the back, when my mother was in hospital due to high blood pressure.

Life often goes like that others cannot understand your behavior, because you are the only people in the commitment.

well, dear classmate, i didn't get a profound understading of the last sentense. i wonder if i have the chance to get it right. hope so.
i am sorry that you had a tough childhood, but i think such experience can really make you a man.
you say that others don't know you well. i totally agree with you on that, since the person who understand you best must be yourself, so why bother let others know you? we just do what we should do, we care less about what others think of us. life is easy.
however, sometimes i suggest you walk out of your world and join us, life is colorful. we need some personal place(our own world) to cure the wound, but we also need to go into others' world to enjoy the beauty of life together, i think.

  2. thank you for your comments and sorry for my late responce! by saying the last sentence , i want to express that every has his own value system and perspective, then they may see the same thing in different lights. however what you are doing may seem not to bre valuable because they do not know what you wants, they just use their own standards to determine what a life should be! i am not saying what they do is wrong or not! to tell the truth, i reallydo not know! but one thing should be made sure that you must live a happy life in your heart!thank you for your suggestion that i should walk out of my own world and enjoy the happiness of others! i have to say that i may be too serious when during the class. though we study together everyday but we seldom have the free time to chat with each other! i cannot allow myself to gossip during the class. hehe as time goes on we will be familiar with each other gradually and you will fine how talkative i am! just as you said life is easy, let us pour the whole heart to it!
    thank you dear classmate!!!
