Yellowstone National Park is well known for its wildlife and its many geothermal features, especially Old Faithful Geyser, one of the most popular features in the park. Previously, I only knew that it is a famous nature reservation in the USA. Until today, I know that Yellowstone National Park was established in 1872. It has a really long history, which shows that people had realized the significance of protecting the environment since then. However, let us have a look at our environment, it is increasingly getting worse. What are our human beings doing during the over one hundred years?
In recent years, more and more nature reservations are established all over the world. The purpose of it is to evoke the public awareness of the severe situation of our living habitat. Contrarily, the environments of those nature reservations seem not been improved. Instead, the environment is destroyed more seriously and rapidly than before due to the excessive tourists visiting those places. With an eye to the whole world, all the countries advocate protecting environment. Nevertheless, increasingly factories are built, extensive forests are deforesting, and large areas are abused to broaden cites. Although many measures are carried out and have a good result, it still can not offset the ruin that people have made to our environment.
Nowadays, most people have realized that our environment is facing acid test. However, some of us do not know how to do the deed. In the mean time, some people go against their conscience for benefit. Therefore, the prime thing we should do is to take effective measures to save the environment and stimulate the enthusiasm of people to participate in. Protecting the environment is not only the matter for environmentalists, but also for all the human beings. I believe everyone loves our planet, so all the people will spare no effort to save it!

The disadvantage the environment reservations brings is that they give people more reasons to destroy those unprotected areas. Anyhow, human beings have made masses of mistakes. All we have done is not protecting, it's making-up. I really wish beings can make up the unforgivable mistakes in future.
ReplyDeleteYeah, nearly all the people's activities are harming the environment to some extent. However, more and more people realize the importance of the environment and start to protect it. In my opinion, we should consider what we can do to support a harmonious relationship between human beings and environment.
